It isn't the cold E.E. it is the heat that kills them and wetness, yes one must prepared to be a nursemaid.

Pity you don't live near Taps I very often put a bunch out on a chair. They soon vanish.

I wish I had one of everything you have pictured, and they were fresh and in a big vase in my house.  That would be so lovely.

I think maybe I could grow these in a 'pot' --- in a protected greenhouse, here in Texas.  Oh but you do inspire me CC - and I don't think it will happen until another year (or so) that is until I simply can establish more time in my hill country retirement home; meanwhile I enjoy your delights here so very much.  EE
