It isn't the cold E.E. it is the heat that kills them and wetness, yes one must prepared to be a nursemaid.

I think maybe I could grow these in a 'pot' --- in a protected greenhouse, here in Texas. Oh but you do inspire me CC - and I don't think it will happen until another year (or so) that is until I simply can establish more time in my hill country retirement home; meanwhile I enjoy your delights here so very much.
