I am sorry you were not treated well. Have you ever owned a business even a very small one? There is more than one can imagine that has to be done and paid for and if it is a corporation then those stock holders have to be satisfied. If you have any sort of pension it comes from investments into big business.

what about big business do we hate, my guess is their greed and how they take the work out of our country and give it to peopel in low standard countries.  They have a high and mighty attitude  I have worked for two very big companies and they in most cases treat their employees like crap

How right you are and your thinking is still right, but for some reason

in today's world everything seems to be upside down.

happy labor day to you too

Hopefully Justi our countries which about the same in structure will  in time start to produce goods which  will be purchased as exports as there is a vast market growing as consumers become more affluent in developing countries. Well that's what I hope, but it won't be easy. If you went to market and gave your goods away everyone would be saying, she's a kind woman. After a month when you couldn't replenish your stock and were hungry yourself. I must stop. You know the rest.

I'm definitely "working class" though pretty much retired from all that now.  Dad was a Ford man, worked for the Ford Company for 40 years.  Wonder what he would think of it all.

darling it is going to be many many years before manufacturers
come home to our countries. I can't find anything locally made here, the USA, or Australia. Greed for bigger and better continuously helped encourage manufacturing off shore. No way will a company pay the sort of wages that Australian's demand compared to what other countries will work for. Oh big business is greedy too and their share holders demand more and better dividends and their top brass get paid ludicrous hand outs whether they perform or not, and short term profit and gratification has become a necessity of life for people. Oh stop me I am writing a post here...perhaps I am just grumpy as I get closer to leaving....I don't usually go on like this.

Justi

. I guess that the complete picture needs to be seen on both sides. This is specific politics. For now just good luck in saying what you want to say. I read, sometimes comment, but I would need to take the time to consider the political and economical aspects completely before I can agree or disagree officially. However your point about the benefits in big business makes sense. I think of the party platforms. I know that the policies are more specific now than when I was growing up. Individual Americans like you can state their opinions in a forum like your blog. It’s a good job. But then there are policies on blogging. I don’t know. This is over the fence chat love.
