- Go to Sunday...one must leave the Gnomes alone today.
Sorry Kabu missed you again, but I am not going to talk about babies so I'll just move onto your next blog.

There is such a difference between mothers and their ways, or MILs and there ways. Some are the sweetest, most loveable people in the world, like yours, and others are sharp-tongued complainers and belittlers. I always felt sorry for someone who did not have a mother like mine. And, I always felt a bit of green-eyed jealousy for those with wonderful and tender MILs. LOL

. My landlady Mrs. Sun had a garage sale on her front lawn. They had to walk over her flowers not that I saw anything missing later. And later she watered her garden love. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

Ultimately, we are ourselves and find our own way, but you have some great memories of your mother!

my mom was just the opposite of yours I could no right, from the man I picked to marry, the way I raised my kids to how I kept my house, she wouldnt even come see me at my house. Now I try a lot harder since I am not working to be a lot better. She was a perfectionist and I couldnt please her in anything I did

Kabuski ~ ah how you do touch my heart...this was rather adorable. It was laced with some thoughtful appreciation of your Mother.

and I can't help but once again snicker at the thought of you tying that bib too tight --- oh dear but I can remember a few not so great ideas in young motherhood; like washing my tot's hair with soap and he wiped it into his eyes, so wiping it more with a cloth and then bubbles began and my --- he was wailing, I was wailing and finally, my mother rescued us from total meltdown. It's funny now but, then I remember the total anxst and also feelings of 'failure' as a mum. I hope you had some restful moments without disturbing the gnomes too much

rather without the gnomes disturbing you or rather, needing you to move them. I cannot believe the plants are needing to come in this soon. It will be a while yet here in my part of the woods (or country). xoxox Elyse

It was cool today, and remember I had to turn the furnace on because it was only 19c in the house this morning. We even stayed in bed to have our coffee. A nice post abpout the past and your mum lover

Not all moms are that tactful. It's truly a gift to be that way.

Wise women you and your mum!
I love this post, thinking of fall to come and the work which is so symbolic of snuggling in for the duration of cold.
