The manager at the store where I worked at years ago went on vacation. That morning, our store had a fire. The assistant manager just wanted to 'handle' it without bothering him. He didn't figure that the manager might be watching the morning news, and see his store on there, in flames. It had been a minor fire, but the things that the manager said to the assistant manager after the fact were not....very minor. It was a major deal. I'm sure your dad appreciated being 'in the loop', as you said.

Re: FSI
It was in broad daylight on a busy day, so I don't think it'd be arson. I think that someone would have seen them on the property. Across the street is a shopping center as well with more people...I think if the cop who put it out the first time or the fire department felt there was something suspicious they would be acting on it.

It is strange when something like this happens, fire is a good friend but a bad enemy I know you've heard it before. It is exasperating when one rings emergency and they sound so cool instead of sending the whole works, but some ring up because the

tele won't work I read a list of things that people had reported, just out of frustration .

They're going to be calling you 'Cool Hand Luke", well done my friend. Did no one determine what the triangles were that were burning? Was it gas placed there by hand? Was it an attempted arson? I think the police should be notified don't you?

Thank goodness you were able to contain it and it didn't spread to any equipment or anything else...

R First of all we know that you live in a small suburb of Baltimore. Second my father threw his cigarette butt into the foundation when I was young. The man next door called the Fire Department when it was that. Around here they’re too professional (I don’t infer the word helpful). They’re part of the Department of Emergency Services now. In any event my father took out the tall evergreens and put in euonymus. They’re like holly. And you ‘re alright kid. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

FSI - I come on to read this morning and my eyes were widely opened by your account here. I am so impressed by your self control and your power of observation is blessedly keen. I am so thankful all is well now and that you were unhurt and that no one was injured. WOW~ Elyse
