It is really hot here also,
Miss Rosie's tongue was dragging after our walk today and I tied her on her outside chain while I mowed the yard. She was ready to come inside without fussing. Sending prayers of love to you and your family. Many Blessings during your visit.

Animals do seem to respond to our expectations... sadly I always expect them to annoy me

You put Mr. Greyson on a "harness?" Is that like a leash? I've never heard of a cat on a leash before. Speaking of Mr. G - maybe HE can get through to your son! He seems to understand what family is all about, Kabu. Have an amazing time and let us know how it goes Down Under.....Mal

I firmly believe animals are smarter, more intelligent, compassionate and instinctive than humans! If someone calls another a "donkey", I say the donkey is being insulted!! Hope preparations for the trip are going well--if the grandchildren don't meet you, the loss is indeed theirs; leave it to the Lord. Thanks very much for your note and prayers.

Kabu - I'm with Pat_B's comment. But you also know that everything has a way of working out. If you are meant to see them, you willl. As for Mr. G. - I agree. Animals understand more...than men...sometimes (LOL).

They should never be to busy to see grandma when they have a chance. Sounds like he's just being silly. They will probably have a wonderful surprise party for Kabupiegrandma down under.

All I can say about your estranged son -- I hope he realizes soon
that he's cutting off his nose to spite his face. A kid only gets one mom this time around...

You are quite right about animal intelligence love. Mr. 'G' is way smarter than our individual sons for sure, and a lot more loving as well. Oh well, to see your grandchildren would be nice, even when the parents charge such a terrible price.

Hello Kabu do you want to come out and play. Bring your skipping rope. Kabu when you are over there if you remember could you find out if there are still too many rabbits. My uncle emigrated basically because he liked shooting the poor bunnies. Rabbit skins over here were sold for average ten pence each. The women in villages made gloves, but they went out of fashion and leather ones took over. Of course there was no other work and the villages that did the gloves were more prosperous. History lesson. Chin up hope Wiley's OK couldn't see his blog. See you around

I am sorry for your heat Grandmummy. I hope that you and Poppy and Mr.G aren't too terribly uncomfortable and are well. Yes, animals are FAR more intelligent than we give them credit for being. Much more so than their human commrades if you ask your baby granddaughter.
As for your estranged son...What a wretched thing to say to you! Never mind, I'll behave myself and say no more. Love to you and Poppy and all your animal friends forever.

It's Tuesday and another warm day...
I do hope you get to see your grandchildren while you are in Australia. I with you, I think our pets understand a lot more than we give them credit for. But it is like a child they have to learn from us.
