Strong stuff, Kabu. The wonderful but terrifying call of the wild.

Nature does have a very cruel element to it at times. Thankfully the great outweights the cruel.

For "first thoughts", this is a terrific poem, Kabu. Really captures the feel of the wild.

Kabu, there's nothing like the howl of a wolf..its both beautiful and
somewhat frightening at the same time (although wolves are so sorely misunderstood).

The wolves can be strange creatures, I never put it together what they might be howling about! Not a good area to take a midnight hike, for sure. I've heard the eerie howling of the coyotes before, but sort of liked it. You have a gift as a story-teller.

Beautiful way to bring nature's fang and claw to downtown Blogit!
I have this creepy little chill up the old background right now.

Write on!
