Lol, priceless, Spitfire!
You set minds rambling in new directions..:)
I've heard there is an art to spitting out old fashioned watermelon seeds; somebody I know even wrote a song about it, haha. Those seedless ones don't have the same flavor, imho. And poor racehorses, they do the run absent the fun.

Even more brilliant is the fellow who thought up square watermelons.
They stack better in stores. And of their seeds, I am reminded of the fellow who inhaled a pea at the hospital, one which was not fully cooked and it sprouted in and collapsed his lung. Life is wild and soooooooo unpredictable no matter how carefully we invent seedless this and square that.
Heheheheh, funny post.

I'm glad to read that I am not the only one who feels like a moron while trying to pick up a watermelon seed. I have heard of seedless watermelons but have yet to try one. I gotta do that...If I was a horse I would not like racing.

I know, Timmy, but
these days I'm too lazy and too busy to deal with seeds. Of course, back in high school, my car was riddled with sunflower seed shells.

Seedless watermelon........spitting the seeds was half the fun of eating it. It's kind of like buying shelled sunflower seeds. Saving time has taken all the fun away. As for the horses.........................................

LOL, Jems! I still worry about that, too.
Not cause of pregnancy but cause my brother scarred me for life about swallowing seeds.

I loved the perspective of the horse! It is kind of crazy to whip the a$$ only to get back from whence they started! Week after week, race after race, nothin' but a vicious circle! lol sam

Unless for a special diet. The seeds digest but in the back of my mind like my father after his first minor stoke at 77 (He died after his master at 81) I think some people can’t have seeds. In any event they do need a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. My mother had the symptoms and they thought that she suffered from it love. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

Seedless watermelons rule!
They help alleviate my fear that if I swallow a seed and accidentally ingest some dirt a watermelon will start growing inside my belly.
OMG!!! I think it's happening now!!! My belly is just getting bigger and bigger!!!
