Good lord, I just spit coffee everywhere. Well do I remember and treasure my fireworks!
Unfortunately, they've done something wimpy to both firecrackers and bottle rockets these days.
I'll have to resurrect an old post about bottle rocket wars.

GREAT KIDS STORY......LITTLE BOYS AND FIRECRACKERS.....
MY LITTLE DARLINGS MADE A FIRECRACKER BOMB AND BLEW THE TOP OFF MY NICE SQUARE BRICK POST BOX AT THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE.
