A Wonderful Summer
Through it all you have endured and the love and support of family and friends is worth so much as they are our support group. You have come a long way, and you have done well..congratulations!/LBJ

You have done well and 2008 was a challenging time, keep on writing about depression too because it's helpful for you and others my friend...

Most definitely you have that capability to pass that happiness that you feel around FSI albeit with a little bit of sadness and numbness that you had to go through. Thanks so much for the visit.

I am wishing this summer could last forever...it is so lovely at home
warm days and surrounded by beauty. So many of us here have suffered depression and anxiety so many of us have suffered a lot of pain...it is wonderful to read just how you have overcome dark times and grown into the wonderful person that you are. You will write and publish that novel...I just know it.

FSI, I've had a few summers like that that I wish could have gone on
"forever"...and I've deleted short stories written when I was a teenager that I wish now that I'd kept...(they were handwritten and I just got in a mood one day and deep-sixed them)....

I'm sorry this happened
but impressed by how you have moved on. As Wordsworth wrote:
"Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of Splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower
We shall grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind"
May your journey be full of hope

I bet it was a shock when your parents split! But the fact that they remained business partners had to help a great deal! It is too bad you deleted the novel, but it's over! And it was a full time of work, tutoring, school and thank goodness for your walks to clear your head! I am very impressed with you; you are very mature beyond your years! sam

It must have come as a shock FS. but as long as your parents remain on friendly terms that is all you can wish for.Depression is an awful condition, but once one has suffered from it, one finds it easier to shake off if it should trouble again. I hope in your case it does not and I can understand your extreme happiness, this is something one enjoys once or twice in life.
It is always lovely to feel just happy, believe me.
