Kabu
I guess it takes an Aussie to look forward to a Canadian winter...

R It’s a cool time of year but still hot here with no relief in sight like for two weeks love. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

What lovely pictures you draw with your words, Kabu. But it sounds as if your summer ends before ours. We reckon on another month at least...

I can't believe it is already August and you are so right Kabu soon it will be winter. Great poem darling and hope you are doing fine.

The summer has been better in East Anglia
this year than for many years but can't believe autumn is casting her shadow over our sunshine once again

Sounds ideal. I know you wanted gladiola blooms, but you also love
to feed the little critters, so it wasn't a total loss. Hope you have a pleasant journey and a perfect outcome, a "little nothing" problem that's easily fixed.

Don't the months fly! Have a good and successful trip! See you next week!

Those little poems do sound like a song, Kabu. When the colder weather comes along, it would be the right time for me to visit - those slithering friends of yours will be out of sight. Hoping all turns out well in Ottawa!

Kabu
Have a good trip Kabu hope the hubby will get fixed up. I expect it is more worrying for the nurse than the patient. It doesn't matter what one grows something is after it as soon as one turns one's back. I hope to have two months growing weather yet. Thank you for everything C.C.

Kabu
Such a beautiful post. It was the chipmunks that took your bulbs. I have them take mine I want to chomp them up but can't stop them. My cat is lazy she just watches them do their little shows.

From what I have gathered about gardening from this blog and others, gardening offers something new to do every day...So great it is that you love this sort of work. Keep it up!
