Well Katray what you see are little whiskers all edible these are like grapes with a gooseberry taste. the branches are very prickly, but I get stung by nettles and pricked picking goosegogs, the slang name for them pronounced gusgogs.

Well mixed with blackcurrants, Taps trying not to eat pastry trying to get rid of a tummy that came up suddenly and I have to keep trying to pull it in.

Kabu there are until they ripen to yellow but I had one bush and took slips from a red variety it must be the Sun .

First year I've seen the gooseberries red like this without the birds nabbing them
