I agree.
Many people, here at least, stay together because they have children together.
Some get married because they are expecting a child. It never seemed logical to me at all.
If you weren't interested in marrying someone when there was not a child, why would you only because there is one? Also, children know when their parents aren't happy together, which defeats the whole purpose of staying together for the child.
G's parents pressured him into trying to marry me when I was pregnant with Sarah. It was stupid. He had no desire to get married, and why would I marry someone who didn't want to be married and also treated me like shit my whole pregnancy? Ok... I will stop here, or I will go on for ages
