Well it is like most things Sam I imagined this glorious scent every time I passed the door and they are scented,but I think I shall plant the finer ones next year to get larger blooms.

One of my fave flowers is the sweet pea and Mother used to grow

beauties always. ...

Pick those cherries ASAP....They are my most loved fruit....I used to buy bags of them in Greece where they grow so well and then a few months later they were ripe in Australia. They are arriving here so I am a happy muncher! I never get to cook them but they cook well...worth the while to de-pip them and I would just cook them to almost soft with cinnamon added. Then they can be enjoyed however you like.....lovely with breakfast cereal or porridge, jellied as a summer treat now that would be wonderful...or in a mousse. I have a great recipe for a mousse.

a packet of jelly crystals ....cherry or Port wine would be nice..... dissolve in one cup of boiling water and stir until all the crystals have dissolved. Then let it cool and almost begin to set..but don't let it set....Add a cup of chilled whipped cream flavoured with a dash, very small dash of vanilla and spoon in the desired amount of cooked cherries.Place in the refrigerator and enjoy when it is set.Yum...

Or cooked cherries could go into a trifle......a pie ....anything but let the birds have them.

Just sweet peas these are heavily scented ones so are not a fine as shows
