Promised
Well I guess if you thought it was brilliant, you would not have improved. But does it matter if it does you could say it had been written by a friend

I wonder when the rain will ever stop, however, today was a picture perfect
day, so I am not complaining.

I find it hard to believe that anything you have written is worth tossing... and Dogwood is a beautiful tree/shrub :-)  you would just love it in the spring... and the more the merrier I say... though I would give them space when planting them for they grow fast and big :-)  xoxoxo

Dogwoods can be grouped or stand alone
You and Wiley should come to Tennessee and see the Dogwood trails in Knoxville one spring.  It is beautiful. I was looking at trees on Tues at Lowes. I'd like to replace the shade tree Richard had cut down. They had a nice Oak tree that has red leaves in the fall. A nice Dogwood would look good there also.  Decisions, Decisions.

Although I make nistakes in comment spellings, I take good care that they don't appear in my writings. The ones I am doing now is how to translate the language of the yonder years into the modern English expressions and I am enjoying the exercise that I give to my brains. You are a superb story-teller and a sensitive writer, Kabu

We're usually our own harshest critics..I've learned that old stuff I'm
tempted to, at first glance, toss away, with some editing, can become surprisingly good. Or not. Blogit is a great testing ground, Dear Kabu - we enjoy reading you! Dogwoods are beautiful, just wish they had a longer flowering season. Same for rhododendron and azalea shrubs; I never want the party to end, I guess, lol.  I vote solitary!

Kabuiepie-;)
Just keep all your writing to work on or play with over time, it's me that should dump stuff and I do. You're a terrific writer and I'd love to see some blogs like about your days as a nurse, especially in the mental wards. LOL You in da right place now baby and I love ya.

Just condense it in case it isn't that good and see if people like it! Then you could add if they do. Just a suggestion.   I like to read about the Aussies.

Kabu

I'm glad Pat gave you all that info about the dogwood, 'cause I know nothing about it, other than that it probably has leaves, rather than needles, LOL.

About that rain this morning: here it came down so hard that after a couple of blocks Jag, my doggie, decided that he didn't want his morning walk after all, and insisted we go home, which was fine with me...

The dogwood is a small tree that never gets thick enough
to support a man's weight. The tree may get as high as 12 feet or so. The blooms may be either pink or white with pink edges, and flowers bloom first, then the leaves come out. There's a disputed legend afoot that the timber used to build the cross on which Christ was crucified came from the dogwood tree, and after that the species never again grew that large.

Glad all is well, Grandmummy.  Did Poppy tell you the suggestion he made to me about Vyktor?  He is returning very soon.  Love you both

Oh to go over one's old work seems almost daugnting I do agree. I hate to toss things out but sometimes you just keep them in a folder marked when I was young.
