I finally threw 2 manual can openers away this year. I did not want to curse anyone with them. I have a very useless air-popper. The popcorn flies out the side before it is popped. It looks brand new. We got it at a yard-sale. (I know why they were selling it now) I am really tempted to take it to the thrift store, but know they will sell it for a high price and then someone will get it home and not like it. I'm going to get the courage to toss it. :)

I can't tell you all how many times I have opened chemicals at the car wash and have stuff spilling out. With food items I am better...I lose things all of the time as well...That's great you have the ability to get rid of those unused items after a period of two years. I need to be that way!

Lol....I still use my small opener that I got out of a box of "c" rats. Affectionately known as a "John Wayne" or P-35.....(?) It is small, worked with the thumb and opens every time.

Don't worry about it
If it was important to you, you would find it again.  I keep telling myself that :P

Came home today with a new can opener had to open the can with the old one by turning it upside down. Have now this week dared myself to leave my glasses lying around I must put them in a case straight away. I had to drive with my computer glasses and didn't notice that the others were hanging around my neck. What was the other blog about?

There's an electric can opener under one of my kitchen cabinets
left here by the former owner. In five years I've used it maybe five times. I ought to get rid of it, but it's screwed in place. I am getting rid of stuff "I might need someday." Saw one of those hoarder shows and it scared the .... out of me.

Hello Kabu
I am always clumsy and spill whenever it comes to opening a bottle or a jar. Wonder why is that?
