Thank you Kabu These might be a little bit softer I would imagine because they grow quickly but as I said I leave them because the butterflies lay eggs on them and there are not many nettles around the town area. I did read yesterday that a stop is being put to folks selling part of their gardens for building, although many folk only want a bit of cement and a television. Good luck with the building project and thank you for being nice

Thanks for this dear friend.....It is a long time since I even saw a
stinging nettle in Australia because I lived in Sydney for 20 years but they look pretty much the same and if you walk through a patch they are nasty for awhile. I think ours might be darker green....I will get my sister onto sending me a picture.
