Are you sure that's Australia? Sounds like the good ol' USA to me.
All y'all leave the stones where they lie...............gosh and let the mousie live until Mr. Greystone finds him again. It is his joy and his job, so, forget about it.
Rest, just have some tea and stare at what God already did for your garden this summer. Sometimes, it is a fabulous things to do absolutely nothing. But, busy bodies like yours are probably unaccustomed to it and might get a little anxious, so add some valerian to that tea, hehheheh.
Seriously, sit and stare at the garden holding hands, you ANTS, and stop the madness !!!!

I always thought Australians had a good sense of humor and be careful lifting those stones.
A lot of folk use raised beds here just a square made of upright about 4" boards filled in with good soil mixed with compost and then planted.

I think the economy will catch on again once the new start-ups in green tech and the retraining gets going. But I'm worried about that oil.
