It's been along time since you've commented.  I apologize!  Your sticker idea sounds promising! :)  And you really don't need to worry about the volcanoes or the tsunamis!  Lava flows really slowly, so you'll know to leave in plenty of time to get away safely.  And the only active volcano we have is on one island, so all the other islands have no threat of lava spewing all over.

As for tsunamis: unless the massive earthquake which generates the tsunami is in Hawaii, you will have hours to pack up and evacuate. This most recent earthquake in Japan generated a series of waves, but we had six hours to prepare between the quake in Japan and when the tsunami arrived in Hawaii. :)

So, that said, come visit! You'll love it~

Maybe you should make your own stickers that have messages on them, like "Can I get a aloha!?..Hawaii sounds beautiful. little nervous about the volcanos and surrounded by all that water!

Gomer

I wish I had the funds to travel and see what people in other areas of our earth are like. Alas, I've never been out of the country and have been only as far East as Wisconsin.

Perhaps in the future....

The people there are probably nicer than the people here. I'm from Texas and I used to think Houston was such a friendly place. What a rude awakening I received after being away for a few years. Strangely the majority of people I've met over the past four years are not from this city at all. That's what makes travel so special to be able to see what the rest of the world is like.
