Re: Once again, you always get the best bands in here, Tim-Bo!
Glad you enjoy them Strat. You should go back a couple of days ago, take a look at "Finger Talkin'" I was actually thinking of you when I picked it out

I don't think anyone has questioned me about it. I did not know them until after they had peaked. I met Rick Roberts when he came in to buy a car. This would have been about 15 years ago. I was introduced to the other members when I showed up to one of their gigs. It is kind of cool that I get a phone call from them to let me know when and where they are playing.

It is kind of sad to see them playing in small venues when you think about the huge sell outs they have played in the past

Tim, When you tell people that you know Firefall, do some doubt you?
The reason I ask, is because I attended school with Bob Seeger, at both Slauson Jr High and Ann Arbor High school. When I mention this, I can see skepticicism in the face of many. I knew him to be a good fellow, friendly, talented, intelligent, and although we didn't hang around together after school, I learned that we had only lived a few blocks apart, just as his family was moving to another neighborhood. This was during high school, and I often think about the fact that we only knew each other school. We often met while earning a living, me filling candy machines, Bob selling ladies clothing at a department store. I filled the vending machines, while Bob enjoyed his break time. One topic of conversation was his discouragement with his being unable to have any of his music get radio air-time past Chicago. He knew that if he could not have his music to catch on west of Chitown, he was just beating a dead horse. He actually was thinking about giving up on his dream of stardom. This was just before it all happened for him, of course. We never met again, but I sure wish that I could recall if I encouraged him to stick with his musical quest. Maybe he will attend our fifty-year class reunion, in 2013, although he hasn't been to any of the others.
