If we were not doing it ourselves we would not be able to do it period. I am glad you like the efforts. Be blessed. Thanks for telling Wiley I needed help with Photobucket.

For an old girl over 100...she is absolutely beautiful and you have such
taste...well done ...it is fun to do it yourselves and achieve exactly what you want. ...forless cost too.

No it has not been long ago. We were paid insurance to get a roof, we got the deal for less than the insurance paid and we used that to repaint the house so that increased the property value. Not a big secret.

Progress
Well it looks nice to me Justi, it doesn't seem long ago that your stove blew up and the wind took you sideways, but I guess that you have had to live through it and it probably seems longer to you. Be happy.

It is nice for me, it requires work all the time and is a bit overwhelming sometimes, but I am thankful for it. I love your poetry the pictures and stories you weave with words.

Thank you, yes I am very blessed but not financially. We did not build this house it is over 100 years old. We have simply painted it recently. Yes we do have the 10 Commandments in our yard, as you can see it is weathered. Yes all our goods come from God in some form. He says he will meet our needs, he does. My husband is out of work, I am 74 and we are not doing a lot of work, we have in the past. We have faith. We believe everything belongs to God and we do what we can to keep those commandments. But he makes provision for us because he loves us, we love Him and he loves you and all people. He died so that we could receive the forgivness of our sins. Many would call me ignorant; however, I see his work daily in my life and those around me how could I doubt him. He does all he promises in his Word the Holy Bible. God bless you WaterKat.

Im jealous...
You are very blessed to have the means to create such a beautiful home,, looks just like the sort of house I dream or did dream about having once. By the way what is the sign out front saying 'Ten command...." about? Do you really have the Ten commandments displayed at the front of your house ?? Did God give you this house for being good? ..........

ps. hope Im dont sound sarcastic I dont mean to. Regards Waterkat

Very, very nice Justi. I suppose this is the cottage near the lake you were talking about. Just gorgeous. I can envision how fun it can be - doing something you love. Thanks so much for the visit and glad you had a trip down memory lane.
