We get quite a few birds at our feeders, but probably not quite the variety you have. But often, I would say at least once a week, the hawk drops in as well...

Beautiful birds. We have lots of birds I love them, except our blue jays. There is not a cowardly bone in their bodies, they run off everything they can down here. They chase squirrels, cats, even crows, mean as can be. Have a beautiful day.

Wild birds are a lovely sight, and sound, and it's great fun to have them around
and to try to pick out what each might be, and perhaps see something new now and then.  Can you imagine who would use "bird control products" to keep them away?  There are over 100 bird control products you can buy including:

Bird Spikes
Bird Netting
Bird Jolt Electric Flat Track
Bird Spiders
Bird Repellent Mist
Bird Wire
Bird Slope
Visual Deterrents
Sound Deterrents
Transparent Bird Gel
Bird Repellent
Bird Shock Electric Track.

And then there are WileyJohn and Kabu and TAPS and other Blogiters who buy stuff to feed them.

Well you do have fine birds Kabu, I am plagued with black birds, they only want the little pellets that I give to the cat, they seem to go mad after them, but I only have fishy ones as I give them to my goose and I don't want it to turn cannibal eating chicken and duck pellets. I am pleased that you like the flowers, it is a bit of a pain getting a good photo as you know

A lot of life is in your backyard. So great it is to read someone so appreciative of nature.

You have a backyard my Mom, the Audubon naturalist, would adore.  Our backyard is a bird killing field with predatory Patches on the prowl.....Mal
