Kabu
I read this yesterday, but my comment wasn't quite....suitable, somehow, LOL, since this is a family show, after all...I still can't find anything that wouldn't get me in hot water, so I'll just let it ride...but I
like the poem...

I'm afraid that I would be tempted
to "cop a gentle feel"
just to make certain that what I was seeing
was really, really, real.

I wonder if a message in a bottle would work......maybe the right prince or friend would find it and be able to dive down to her.

I sense a lot of isolation for the mermaids. Some freedoms in general we take for granted.

Uh, I never did figure out she wanted to buy a telephone but heck I'd be frustrated as all git out if you were the mermaid. I like the slim no fin look. Well anyways it's better than my poetry that's for sure darlin'

Firstly I would like to commend you both for writing your book without dispute. Yes a charming little poem in your undisputable style that is meant to be exquisite, I'm sure, no I wonder do you think they wear tights?

Yes, I'm with Pat....underwater breathing and being a little more slim. It would be rather nice. But as for me, I don't even like to stick my face in the water, so Mermaidism is probably not in my future. Cute poem though, MamaH!

How sweet to be able to breathe under water, and feel slim.

This is really good, Kabu.

Fun poem. None of us have to worry about your going off to join the Mermaids, they don't wear shoes.
