Oh yes CC
when I was looking over these this morning --- my husband looked over his faves --- they are all too great looking to choose from, and he said these remind him of Gloxinias ~ http://www.denverplants.com/flower/html/glox.htm and I remember now, yes they do.  I think I've found a flower similar and able to grow in the 'jar(s)' ~ E.E. ~~~ thanks for your loverly review and inspiration.

I tell you CC - that stalk is very proud - very strong looking.  You must be so happy for your blooms ~ or as a proud parent.  I like the way this one stands up so nobly ~ Like trumpets just about - yes, little mouths singing.  ~ I am capturing my first group (of say 6) of these pics this afternoon to take for their photo processing at a local photoshop.  I'm excited.  I will show you the finished effects ~ E.E. (photoblog on please...) LOVE the name:  Piers Telford ~
