Re: Re: E.E.
Ahhh --- so it's 'red' --- a deep red - like "cadmium red" -How neat nature is at fooling us and now I wonder if this would bring on a hummingbirds sip or a butterfly's nuzzle and I think so yes.  I wanted to tell you that I like exactly how these are showing up --- it does bring about difference in what I would like to display - It's your choice - and it's my pleasure that I am allowed to gather these photos for my (my family's ) enjoyment.   I speak 'inches' and so I would have to figure out 'metric' (she says with  nothing LOL) because I have no idea and just didn't pay attention in class when that subject broached -  and we won't suffer a translation breakdown here - I will find out the measurement for ya' --- E.E.

Re: E.E.
Yes E.E. I like this bloom basically it's as good grower, but strangely enough so I'm told none of these colors are black, but deep red, although it looks black to me. I admire your fortitude, with your box of delights it might be a family heirloom in the distant future. I don't really know if you prefer close ups or the whole plant. I suppose when one looks at a plant one tends to focus on the flower, but if you prefer one over the other it would be no prob. Says he optimistically. Are we talking inches or metric? Inches I presume. I know a teaspoon equals 5 mil. I know what 5X7 inches looks like. I wish our measurements  had been left as imperial.  C.C.

Maggie (reminds me of Maggie Mae that Rod Stewart song) and what I nicknamed my daughter Maegan and to tell you the truth this one bears a personality much like her…So joyfully bold and brilliant – that etching of black surrounding the mouth open is delightful – Like lipliner - kohl almost ~ but more, like circles around circles this one is art in motion ~ Beautiful blooms –

CC *I found the box to hold these photos…and when I get it done, this project complete,  I will have to show you…It’s 5 x 7 and wooden box…the outside will show the chosen Photo, and when you open up the box – inside are more and more of the delights --- I was thinking that with 5 x 7 it would show best in ‘pixel’ enlargement --- and I can pick and choose daily, monthly, season-ly whichever bloom I desire… neat eh?  E.E.

Re: Re: Sam you little poetess, I was trying to beat you
After I said good morning I realized you in the afternoon! So good afternoon! We are having a rainy day as well, plus gusty winds. How very cool on the goose. Ducks come into my yard from the canal from time to time but they don't stay. So, you are a man of lace, I like that! I suppose leather curtains would be a dash drab, lol! Aha, you have a 'tiny room' too! I think I got into collecting books in college. They were so expensive, but not by today's standards but per dollar to dollar I think close and the resale not worth the trip to the bookstore for consignment! lol Now have a great afternoon/evening! I finished the saga, and I am tired beyond epic proportions. lol again! sam

Re: Sam you little poetess, I was trying to beat you
Sam , You little poetess, I was trying to beat you. It is nearly 3 pm and a soft gentle growing rain is making the grass grow, my little apple trees are full of pink blossom and an old goose that has been here forever although blind now, it is sitting enjoying the softness which it appreciates. I am looking at this through my new lace curtains which I found in Oxfam. I would show you the small room which houses my two computers, but wires are everywhere and the few books I own are mostly dictionaries and one little book which I bought years ago. How to speak good English and one of Dlyan Thomas which I have sometimes examined.  Please don't think that I was extravagant one computer is a gamer which needs a high graphic card, but I haven' t had time to play on it since I signed up here for one year. I don't really look out of the window much because beyond the fence there are now houses. Keep your chin up.
