It sounds like a cool shopping trip. Don't you just hate it when shop assistants look disapproving? They should change their job.

And now I am just DYING to know what it was you purchased that the salesclerk may or may not have thought was 'too young' for you...? I'm sure it looks FABULOUS!!! You have great style and taste in clothing and accessories...I've seen all the pictures, you dress to the nines, Lady!

LOL and I can relate to them experiences with the sales person!! When I go shopping for the girls and pick out the extra small clothes, the sales girls give me a look over! How dare they even suggest that I cannot fit into these clothes..LOL.Thanks so much for your visit and lovely comment Kabu.

I had no trouble whatsoever understanding your lovely accent,
but then I wasn't trying to sell you something, either. I love accents that differ from mine, they're always a sign that someone knows something I don't and they can teach me.

It is so great that humans have diversity, and so surprised that many don't appreciate it! I, too, get such a kick out of different accents (especially on one TV Antiques Roadshow in London where the expert commented that from the woman's accent, 'she was obviously an American'! ha) Burka's would always make me practically weep, however, and remember from my own 50's upbringing that we women generally reinforce all of religion's or society's rules for us.

I can't understand the fuss about clothes Kabu, either they fit or they are too small, either they are too modest or too revealing, or too expensive, or you ought to know better. Excuse me does one have amnesty on your site? Can we talk about shoes?

Lol Grandmummy. For some reason, people don't usually understand my English, either! Maybe one day if you and I ever get to shopping together, I'll use my fake Aussie accent on the lot of them!

LOL --- oh I love how you describe the retail dividers/vendors. I cannot stop giggling, imagining you saying it in many a different 'tongue' hoping they'd get the [ big picture ]. At any rate, I don't think of age when I shop except for when I am in the 'junior' department and I know then I cannot
even think of fitting that little thing on my mid50's body. So I do hope you enjoy your 'good's and wear them with joy ~ Why sporting Mr. Graysome, tethered and all, I would imagine you look superb in anything you choose to wear.

- I'm so glad to hear some 'good' news on WileyJohn's diagnosis ~ so glad. My heart can take a breath now. Love to you all ~

I love to study people... discover their little quirks and moods... those things that make them unique if you will... and as you I have found that they ( most people) love what is exotic and foreign... the farthest away someone comes from the better to find out about them. I am sure they all loved your aussie accent... who wouldn't? I think is so sexy !!! both in women and men. Don't worry about the burka lady... I am sure she has her own issues, who knows.. I am glad you got your stuff and that Wiley's news were good... Be well my friend xoxoxo
