I'm proud of you!  Can't say I'm as anti-smoke as many others are, but that train surely is roaring along taking many with it.  Never have smoked, as felt it was a lot of unnecessary work and I was too clutzy to be safe around flammables, anyway; and also, had I desired smoke, everyone I knew (know) smokes.  But if I replace smoking with, say, ice cream--then I understand your strength needed and, mainly, the mental decision.  My old man has always smoked and bought that E-cigarette, which delivers nicotine without smoke, for dire situations like being indoors in public.  That might also be a way to wean yourself . . . if the drug is scary, and I'd be afraid of it, too.  Signed, Not an expert.

Hang in there, Guy!
I'm coming onto two months now smoke free -- not necessarily nicotine free yet, but no cigarettes. I occasionally pop a commit lozenge, usually when I've had a couple of beers, but no smokes. The true test will come this weekend, however -- got to play a gig in a bar where they allow smoking. Beer, cigs, live music. I can hear the monkey howling from here!
