All I know is what I read in the history books.
Where do you get your information?

Actually, we don't need this guy in congress.
His attitude could lead the U.S. into a war against a quarter of the world's population. We don't need that.

He is just as misinformed and biased as you are.
I've shown the other side of the history. I won't repeat myself.
Odd, though, how he and all you advocates of a religious war conveniently forget -- or fail to mention all the Christian on Christian violence during that time. Europe was constantly at war -- France against Spain, Spain against England, England against France, etc. , etc., etc...
While you try to label the Moslem world as violent, seeking empire, history tells us that so was the Christian world -- in fact, so was -- and is -- the world in general.
There is no way in hell that anyone can single out any one religion or people as being singularly violent or having a crusade against any other religion. All have sinned in the same manner.
It is those that refuse to recognize their own sins that (as the Pharisee at the temple) leave the altar unjustified.

He is a shining star......he ran against Boehner in 2006 for Minority leader...He now has the # 3 spot and is building a strong conservative alliance in the House GOP....don't count him out...though he has competition in his own state from Governor Mitch Daniels......also a rising star....I hope for a new face...not the same old crew.

the combined press clubs yesterday on C-SPAN. His delivery was Carson-like. He was truly likable. What's holding him back in the party? He's Oriental-American right? Hr dhoulf be getting more than 3% iin the GOP straws.
