Leaving that day saved you from a fate worse than death, obviously he was one of those who wanted 'it' enjoyed 'it' and then left 'it' and was unable to give a description of any of them to the cops when they all went after him at the proper time. Good post.

One of the big reasons I appreciate my Old Man is his ability to see that sometimes PLANS need to be inspected. Hard to know what to re-think. Once in awhile I've had the courage to do what my heart said while my brain screamed bloody murder--and my heart was right. Trying to 'do the right thing' should be suspect, at least once in awhile, and when it is very, very important.

Great story, Kabu.
Just this one little blog could bloom into a novel! I actually ran into my high school sweetheart 40 years later -- changed all my regrets about losing him to a big fat sigh of relief. He wasn't the man I thought he'd be.

Sigh --- memory of a first love --- does this make me remember or what? I enjoyed this tremendously. The sweet infatuation - the crush and then the realization - his crush was equal if not more. WOW ~

your pen is so alive and I love it when you write 'memoirs' 'stories' - well, anything me dear Kabuski -
