Kabuiepie-;)
Let's just enjoy the summer and give me a chance to chat with the doc and see if I can do it. I haven't stopped thinking about the possibility and I have been healthy all my life and travelled everywhere before this heart attack. Let's just take it One Day At A Time like we have done for nearly 3 years now and God has been very good to us.I Love You

You handle those excruciatingly long flights well...That's great that you'll be visiting Australia.

that is a 'longggg' flight and to be that uncomfortable ((((Kabu))) --- You are a trouper. I would imagine yes there is some 'anxst' about going so far away - Your love is stretching here. I know when I go visit my grandchildren both on opposite ends of the states for me - it's long enough the 9 - 12 hour journey - and the day after trying to get my swelling feet back to norm...Oh - you remind me of these journeys and yet, the LOVE I bring back with me in my heart sustains me for yet another yearly jaunt. We are heading to Orlando and Disney for a birthday trip with Annabelle (her 11th) and my Mother's day celebration all in one - for May - and I have a bit of anxst traveling just that short journey - I ask for 'aisle' for exactly this reason you describe, by the way. I'm a walker/and a 'gotta go-er' LOL

I recognize that reluctance to leave your love at home. You sounded like teenage lovers and still do a year (2?) later! Perhaps even more now because you're together longer and know each other so well. I always dread long-haul flights. Our next trip is NY to Vancouver in July!! We're going on an Alaskan cruise (my 2nd, actually) and will poke around in that big Canadian city for a couple of days prior to shoving off. Have a great time, Kabu. You'll see family and I'm sure they will comfort you in other ways.....Mal

Air Flights
Hello Kabu always wishing to give advice there is a strange looking plastic bottle used for car journeys a man invented it after using his shoe. I expect you were in the girl guides and remember their motto Dib Dib Dob something be prepared. You were making me feel uncomfortable.

I thought choices were difficult when I was younger--little did I know! Is it age and experience that crowds around our minds pointing out this and that to be taken into account--like devil's advocates with old lady garrulous voices? It gets harder to make the choice to uproot, even temporarily, as our roots weary of having to dig down again--I think that must be it. And we know that not always is the choice for change all we hope to gain. My new goal (at this late date) is to think first of what I want . . . if only I knew what that is exactly (and don't laugh).

Incredibly poignant, sweet and real, Dear Kabu!
My eyes misting as I chuckle...quite a range of emotions reflecting and shared.

If you get a choice of seats, maybe you could sit
nearer the facility and get an aisle seat, although I always like being able to watch the clouds.
