She didn't say he was born there -- it's the country of part of his heritage.
You're still beating a dead horse. That's been settled. Birth Certificate provided. I can give you the link again if you want with as official a paper as ever existed. I use the same thing to prove my birth. You probably do too.

I believe that is the same as when I was married into the Greek Community
and Australian born Greeks saying they were Greek because their parent was born there. It creates a bond.......I expect his Mum and Grandparents did their best to encourage him to be proud of his father's heritage. I am not one of his disciples,,,very disappointed in him actually but I always try to see both sides of an issue....drives Wiley crazy and used to drive my Dad nuts too...because Mum was the same.
