Thank you for the Easter wishes and sharing the joy of my first Daffodil.I
never pick my bulbs as they then have a chance to multiply. It is weird but the critters don't seem to worry the bulbs that are established...just the new ones that I plant. CC is quite right...these daffodils are planted amongst my tulips which will look really pretty soon, and pictures will come your way.
The fleeting beauty of a flower; my heart desires thee. (quote by me.)

There's nothing like a nodding, sunny daffodil to brighten the day.
Thanks for sharing yours with the rest of us.

gardening interests
Kabu I think it must have been at Whitsun the kids used to trek up the woods and pick bluebells, they used to come back with large limp bundles of flowers. For the way they were gathered, was to pull on the flower stalks and drag them out of their sheaves. It left a long white stalk, I expect the practise had gone on for ever, but children multiply.
A few years later a lecturer came to the small infant school and told the children not gather the bluebells in this way as it either killed the bulb or prevented it from blooming. I know you are not going to to do this to your daffodil or what looks to be a tulip walking beside it.

Kabuiepie-;)
Well, one flower is there and that's something seeing as how you've become such close pals with the flower and bulb munchers.

Anyway, the hedge looks good and pretty soon you'll have the green cart for your pots and the flowers there stay safe and growing---Don't they lover? LOL
