Kabuiepie-;)
We are so 'in tune'. I can't do that downer either, well you and I are in tune with the 'Jesus' of our understanding. The 'Jesus' I know wants contact, not wailing grief, and He wants it while we are alive, and He wants us to do what we are doing, Love one another, and here we are, in love.Happy Easter darlin.'

Aww Kabu ~ I'm not Anglican and I do love Christ but sometimes I fear Christians --- those that thump and wail certain things that scare me - and even being a once good Catholic gal - now, that was an experience worthy of writing a book --- no, today I'm more in Love with the Spirit and knowledge I have of God - which stems from LOVE that I found in my personal walk with Him. So, Good Friday is a great day set aside to reflect on that very sad day of the crucifixion, however, my Lord knows I could 'grieve' like I was wearing the pain that was His to bear. soooo...with all that in mind, I found this poem the other day - from Emily Dickinson - I thought of it and thought, I could relate more to this piece than many I have read - so forgive me but I must share this with you, because you have touched my heart:
A Service of Song
Some keep the Sabbath going to church, I keep it staying at home
With a bobolink for a chorister and an orchard for a dome.
Some keep the Sabbath in surplice; I just wear my wings
and instead of tolling the bell for church, our little sexton sings.
God preaches, --- a noted clergyman
and the sermon is never long;
so instead of getting to heaven at last, I'm going all along!
(Emily Dickinson) 1800's
God bless y'all this wonderful weekend. Love is the heart and spirit of God's sacrifice
I feel and I know you two are enjoying 'Love' ~ xoxo Elyse

Happy Easter
Going to church does not a good Christian make. You can connect with Spirit anywhere at any time. You certainly radiate the Love that God intended for us all to radiate from our center of being. Church is anywhere you can make the connection and you do that so many times as demonstrated in your works and words. Love and Light

The history of Jesus' life and death is explicit enough for me in The Holy Bible. I would rather just read it again than see Mel Gibson's movie.

Kabu
You amaze me. We only had snow sprinkles all winter and we are just now putting our things out now as well. You guys run when your shoes hit the ground. These will be beautiful soon. Get it all spruced up. That is the same we are doing.
