Pansies are some of my very favorites. They are some of the toughest flowers. If people call me a 'pansy', I just say 'thank you'....that's a compliment. Hey, the cat leash looks like a great idea, how does he do with it?

Wish I were doing yardwork with you side by side as we chat away the morning...I will be your long-distance gardening sister! Pass the short-handled shovel, will you?

I went to the garden store yesterday.
Bought cedar mulch. Looked for flowers. In their wisdom, they hadn't stocked 'em yet, so I stood around looking at seed packets. They're such bright little packets of hope. Sorry about your snow. But what a sweet surprise to see a little pansy face.

Oh dear Kabu, now do you want this advice or not? It is not advisable to plant pansies continuously in the same soil, they get pansy sickness. Don't lug those planters around on your own,  I usually mix good loam with bag potting compost. Although knowing your luck you might get away with using the same stuff. No scratching.

Kabu - I am wondering too did the chipmunks and the robin coming looking for you. I know exactly how you feel when you see the buds and flowers.
