Belly Up
Hi Justi, I am afraid it is the honest working man or woman who always seem to suffer. It has always been like that even in the old days when men had to go cap in hand.

Really sorry to hear that George is being 'out-placed', as the current jargon has it - and I certainly agree with you that unions have a lot to do with the loss of jobs! And most often it isn't due to the rank and file, but rather the union bosses for whom their 'union career' takes precedence over everything else...

I am sorry George is to lose the job.....that is tough...I agree with you
that corrupt unions started to help the worker, have ended up destroying the jobs ....of course companies look around for cheaper labour but then the day is fast coming when we won't have the money to buy anything anyway.
I look and look for things made in Australia, the USA, Canada and the UK. It is becoming impossible or terribly expensive...... Well the cook book and plants etc, on your stall will all be genuine.
Hugs toyou both and we must all keep our faith.

sorry to hear George lost his job, but at the same time, it amazes me how so many companies had to lay off. Seems like there was a better answer than that. I know a friend of mine had his hours cut but still has a job. Unemployment is there for that reason
