The furry tongue got to me. LOL
It reminded me of when I was a kid and how my mom used to encourage us to brush our teeth regularly by accusing us of having moss growing on our teeth. She would always add, "...and brush your tongue too. It will make your breath smell better."

Re: Dialogue
Thank you for your compliments I.E. The gnome nearly fell over when he read the page, but he did need straightening out, the elves have agreed to take him down to the workshop and make him real again, he should never have been let run around on his own. These are dangerous times, but we didn't want him to be recycled as Noman suggested, It was only so he could have a new fleece. E.E.

Above all Corncrake, keep the dialogue ~ it's great!!!!

I am mesmerized by the descriptive quality throughout - "metre of clover" and of getting wind - bellyache from all that was tasted, yes I believe one would get that... LOL ~ and these are monster Gnomes? the more caricature type eh? with big feet and funny tusky teeth? I am loving all this creativity ~ Corncrake I do think you are, the epitome of E.E. ~
