ahhh, I've heard that word before, "billabong" (oh it was in Kabu's post just recently) so this is great I can follow along even easier with Sir Gnome - Noman.
I was so entertained by the last verse in particular: I.E. --- etc...er and I am having difficulty translating, "th****"
and love Wobbobaby so glad you wrote more on this ~ ahhh and now I know what it is a 'booboo' patch or 'scab' as such to a tree and the sap (jelly) hardens etc...I understand it like this ~ I think I do...

I leave your blog here ---- pondering to say the least ~ of all this mystery and magic and etc. ~ Elyse

Corncrake you are brilliant and the Grandson has done so much better in
life than his wicked Gramps. Your poetry is so good ....but I shall soldier on trying to keep up with you.
