I like the timing of Medieval people better than ours today. We impose our frantic condstant-industry habits on Mother Earth who exists in a much different rythum. Winter, historically, was more a time to enjoy harvests from earlier work, to mend and sharpen tools so they'd be ready for the next cycle of work, and mainly to sit back and enjoy simply being. Every time media obsesses over airports shut down, road travel impossible, etc. I grin and shake my head as all hags do, and chuckle at a joke no one else 'gets.'

Somehow I find that when days come like this - we must grasp those moments of peace because for some reason, it gets busier around the corner and the rest I got was needed ~ Hope you get some good quality rest in between. More snow eh? I cannot believe the amount of snow, I think Winter is bullying right now. Elyse
