I had to chuckle at the damn bike; I was in my bike warehouse this morning and yes, they get in the way! I have a garage full of them too, and I had to move three of them to get things out! lol What a delightful post for me today! Loved it! Now what are the secrets, lol! sam

Hmmm so Penny does have 'secrets' and to be revealed, I'm sure. This has so many things to view throughout this writing - like even the plates or plaque on the wall that Arthur remembers of the pipe smoking man and the tired looking woman - and I can actually 'see' poor Tammy lying uncomfortably, until Arthur props a pillow more comfortably - the 'tea' the clear tea ~ I'm intrigued more and more - Corncrake you've got an imagination just full. I am sorry you missed the bit where Penny told Arthur what had happened to her it was not very nice. That is why Arthur doesn't try to be the dominant partner.
One does have to be careful what one writes, but we at Bumskin Associates have a broader view of things now we have a new leader.

Arthur does seem to need to have everything spelled out for him.
Penny came to help with poor old Tammy so she could set her cap at a real man......Arthur....of course. She cares for Tammy I am sure, but if he dies before Arthur is truly hers then the excuse for being there is gone. I am so pleased to see that she is taking things into her own hands...........(I should delete that last statement, you may not believe that I am writing metaphorically)......and is this a new mystery or have I missed something.......Penny seems to have a dark ghost in her past.......I do need explanation. But I am satisfied with today's episode...I am very fond of Penny you know.
