I find any house is too small to keep too much stuff. I hope you are feeling better. Be blessed.

WOW look at you go, girl!!! That's so fantastic. Makes me want to clear out today some things...there is no better feeling...well, there's a FEW things that might be better, but NOT MUCH! I always feel like I've lost weight or something when I haul a few trash bags full of items to donate away. It's the best.

I need to go through my junk and get rid of more. I tend to be a pack rat, but our house is so small that the extra stuff just clutters up everything.

I admire your energy. I hate clearing out, so mostly I just leave it for the junk to build higher and higher...

Right Now our house is cluttered with.....
People. LOL We have a house full of people and as result every nook is full. However, we would not have it different until God makes a comfortable place for them to inhabit...Keep Looking Up! Dan

Sometimes the thing we hate to do most is the life lesson we need. Give some of them away and you may find you have a place to go. Just a few at a time. Be blessed.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes de-clutter is a difficult project for clutters. I really want it all and hate it all because it won't let go. Oh did I really say that? Because I won't let go.

That is so true, we don't know them and we could help and be helped. Sometimes the things you are sure you are not interested in or have a use for is what you need to create a new lesson for yourself. Be blessed.

I clean the closets, put all the things to give away in the bags and boxes, place them by the door. I go to bed and the next morning they are back where they were. I have to give them away the day I box them or I take a second look and pull them back out. LOLL

I tell myself they don't own me. Why do I still have all the makings of jewelry that I never did or little denim skirt purses for the granddaughters I never finished? I am a pack rat! Love you dear lady.

You are such a loving and lovely romantic. You would be the one that placed a value on each and every memory. You appear to be one of those who know what you want from life, how to go about it and not beginning a new project with all new materials for that project and all of it becomes true clutter. You truly inspire me. xoxoxo

I am one that doesnt like to throw anything away, I have two closets full of clothes and no place to wear them.  When I work we can only wear black, white or kaki, so that leaves most of my clothes out.

it has been my mission lately to de-clutter.  problem is, i can't bring myself to get rid of anything!  glad you are feeling well enough to work thru the day.

I too find it very hard to get rid of things! As Sinome says, everything seems to have a special association! Thanks very much for your comments--I'm so glad you liked "making a difference"--I will add some more posts to that soon. There are so many amazing individuals we don't know about!

I have learned not to let things own me but I have a pile of boxes
under my sisters house of beautiful stuff I am happy to know is there, and I have brought a few treasures across the world but I've walked away from more things than I can count. People come first.

It is so good to get rid of what one does not use and is just cluttering the house.  I am like your George though... I can't throw away anything  :-( but maybe that is because I like everything I have :-)  Each book, each pair of shoes, dress or even glass figurine I own has its own story behind it... As I touch them or wear them I recall that emotional tie and to throw it out would be like throwing the memory attach to it as well.  How can I do that?  So I live among things that I love and that love me back in their own very special way... Am I crazy? probably loll but I know to put them away in their place so that later I can find them. My grandmama used to say a place for everything and everything  in its place" G-d bless her heart, and I try to do it her way :-) xoxoxo
