Why not tell us Bloggers too about your interesting family history?

It is a big project; however, no one knows you as you do. Only you and God will be parties to the reality of the doings, but you know what you do not want to be presented before your family, and how silly it will be to you to have all those flowery words that you know they don't even believe. Whatever is personal to one is not to another. What you leave may show another the path to the Lord. That is what I want.

What an incredible gift. You've got me thinking; none of us know when our 'time' will come. Your writings will be a treasure in themselves, I assure you. There is no better way to get to know someone, once they're gone. This post of yours will stick with me. I would like to be ready to 'go', for whenever my time has come. That includes pictures and stories and the whole bit. Good thinking, Justi.

I think that is what we all should do, whatever is on our mind that is right for us. In my family I believe my daughter and husband would be a bit prone to exaggerate a bit about me and my doings. I want God to know that I know anygood I did was Him in me. I only want him to say 'Welcome my child, well done good and faithful servant". I also don't want them stressed in any extra manner.

Justi - I have thought about it once or twice especially when sometimes you feel it around you. It is a hard acceptance but it's good to leave a clean slate for those we love. I don't think I want to write a eulogy though..I want to be able to hear what is said from maybe up there..lol. thanks so much for your comment. Yes you are right and very straight on yourself. I feel that it's everyone's prerogative to say and feel what they want and I will just do what I think is best and right.

Good for you luv, I've got it worked out too. I didn't come from a lineage that worried about leaving gobs to the children. I gave lots to them as I lived, so everything is set legally to go to Kabu with no kids able to give her any trouble about it

I dont really have much to leave my kids, maybe my bills, but I wont feel bad if they have to pay them since I have spent a lot of money to pay their bills.  But I dont like the idea of getting as old as my mom (91) unless I still feel like an teenager, (mentally) not physically some days.

You have such a sweet spirit. I hope I can convey how really wonderful it feels to see your kind words or read your wonderful poetry. I can see you are a strong woman but also a very kind and loving one. May God bless you and keep you in all your ways.  Thank You

((((((((((((((((Justi))))))))))))) it makes me sad to talk about these things... but I admire your faith, your fortitude and your generosity of spirit, the way you think of others even at the time of death

Hi Danny
Yes, all I have to do is enjoy life and my family and stay in a ready mode for the Lord. God bless you.

Getting Final Things Done Early...
Is a very good thing to do. I have often sat with families making funeral arrangements after death and it is very difficult. Not only that but with the plans available at the local funeral home and Cemetary you can lock in a future funeral at todays prices and avoid the inflation cost.  Keep Looking Up! Dan

But getting the house in order soto speak is a good thing. My will is all made and everything is settled and I am writing stories as you know. After I put some things here, I do some work on them and then the pages are all going together into a folder. Guess I'll get Lu Lu to print it up for me perhaps eventually. You can publish private if you want.
