I liked this one with its ending too. Reading your yarns makes me feel like I'm watching one of those TV series - like an English or Australian Coronation Street, kind of....

Corncrake, the dialogue is great: "bladdy tokens" and even pickup at "half-three" --- I so enjoy your 'english' so to speak. and I giggled about them all nodding at the Herbert stories --- just so funny ~ and the featherbed --- sigh, but I do like featherbeds ~ how lovely the end.
