Somewhere in our freezer is a couple of really large hailstones that son picked up several years ago.  They will stay until we have a hailstorm with larger ones.  LOL

Funnily enough I had a Florida friend on facebook (good alliteration?) telling us that they had snow flurries the other day... I guess when you  live in Florida you feel left out in winter..

That's pretty amazing she has been able to keep her snowball like that...I never knew that it snowed in Florida.

It would be interesting to examine this piece of ice in a lab and see what it has to tell us !

If we stitched all these wild Nautikos stories end to end,
we'd have a crazy quilt.

Nautikos - LOL, fancy that - a hunk of ice. Thank you so much for your visit and pertaining to the comment on being a non-believer - I did think that sometimes the view is clearer outside the ring but refrained from saying it.

Naut, see if you still have her address!
Naut,
I have an early American antique hatchet, that was the one in the tale, about young George Washington chopping down his father's cherry tree! It has passed from hand to hand, over the nearly three hundred years, and has now been passed down to me. It looks quite well preserved, for it's age. Of course it's had three new handles, and two new heads, but she will probably be interested in buying it. Sorry family, but we already knew that it wasn't going to stay in our care, forever!

Wheee! I sure hope that lady stays away from my house. I have a Hot Florida Hunk who lives here as my husband and he has no business being in the melting business. Other than that this is so cute as these always are.

Now I am feeling refreshed! I tied flies years ago and had a variety of the animal kingdom housed in the freezer! That is just crazy to keep that for those many years! I will tell you that my SIL had to put her cat down and when she found out that it was going to be taken to the dump she cringed and brought it home and put it in the freezer! Of course my teenagers at the time had to pull it out to freak their friends out! It was in there nearly 6 months before it got a proper burial! Shelly
