I am just starting to read and lear about the first Nations people as they
struggled and fought the elements and each other to make this continent their own. I am loving the learning.

Amazing, the passion you write with shows and bears the pain, long-suffering and humiliation of many, of much in our society.

and it touches my heart. Elyse

Native American philosophy sounds like an interesting topic of study...So many problems Native Americans face as evidenced by the poem.

I love Native American philosophy! I have Cherokee blood and my grandmother X5 walked the Trail of Tears as a child. I have a friend from Minnesota who is a medicine man and his knowledge is mind boggling although he has never had any formal training! sam

I'm also impressed with native American beliefs and philosophies, especially myth.. I'd like to have read a bit about them here.
