wild flower
Definitely my favorite - personifying the wildflower as a feisty little beauty was a great idea - very effective!

I love wildflowers! I was just on my indoor bike training for my biking this summer and thinking about flowers! This gets me even more ready! Thank you for your visits, I have been battling my clinical depression and I just couldn't get moving! But off to catch up on your poetry, now! Love you, your sam ~

Looking out of my snowy window, it's words like these that assure us Spring really will come around again

It's wonderful to get my mind on green pastures, green meadows, wildflowers and babbling brooks.  Only white is seen from the window behind me and I'm glad that today I don't need to go out for anything.  Oh, and green is in my pot in the kitchen.  I just made the most wonderful broccoli soup.  I'm not sure I can wait til noon to eat some.

No flowers here at present but the spring summer and early fall
is just fabulous with color.

I've know a few wild flowers.
They were all women.  Still there is nothing more beautiful that a woman who stands out in a crowd.

Very nice! And I like to read about wild flowers when this part of the world is in the grip of ice and snow...whatever happened to Global Warming?

Dear Shobs
Wow Shobana, this is a classic picture again, investing the wild flower with a name, that she is a game ... for adventure, the little girl asking her lovely questions, survival in alien surroundings, especially the use of the word "trappings" fitting so well. Kudos lady, you just make me go on a high .

It's truth --- most probably a seed was brought or dropped by a winged creature.  This is angelic ~ Shobana your poetry rings purity and heart --- yes heart songs.  Elyse

I love this poem. Reminded me of a wild rose I spotted once in a nature center...one red flower amongst all of the green. It looked like it didn't belong there, but the flower didn't know that!
