Plenty of people out there will knock philosophy... which is a great pity, because it gives us a sense of how humans think and question. We lose a lot by ignoring our cultural heritage.

A degree in philosophy is a good discipline to have taken I think. Gives you the many insights of the human mindset too. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and liking my song. One of those things I try sometimes.

my philosophy
It dawned on me one day.. Why are we on this earth? Why do we paint, play music , philosophise, play sports, meditate, pray, and always try to perfect something and achieve goals?
The answer: to get closer to God/ the Universe, /the Supreme Being. So you go for it Mercedes, I am right behind you there. Cambria.

All knowledge must find its end in wisdom. The fire of knowledge burns all impurities, just as gold, passing through the fires, attains its shine in pure briallance, in wisdom. Knowledge is the purifier. Very interesting write, Poet.

A very inspiring post telling us to go after our dreams. In this "make as money as you can" society that we live in I find a post like this very refreshing. The teacher in me also appreciates it as well.
