You are more dedicated than I could be, Naut, morning person I am not, unless forced to be...!  Sounds like you love having Jag around.

This makes me miss having a dog. I lost her in the divorce, Callie the Australian Shepherd. Smartest little herding dog, ever! Enjoy your Jag; glad you have her. Oh, and I love the whole morning and bare feet on the grass thing, too.

LOL - am right with you, Nautikos. Fortunately, living in the bush, I just have to open the door and let the doggies go...which they both do at the same time, resulting in collision and my first laugh of the morning. Your 'to be cont'd' makes me think something happened on one of those early AM walks??

Glad to read en entry to this blog. Been awhile...That dog has you wrapped around his paw. Amazing how our pets can influence us so much.

Poodles are sweet. My family went in for beagles. At one time my daughter had two; Benjamin and Samuel. They ruled the roost.......

Oh, a standard poodle is a grand dog!

Back in the day of the Girl Scout cookie door-to-dooring, I knew which house had that dog, his bark was so distinctive!

Nights at home have been so cold this winter, I often awaken with a biggish dog and 4 cats on the bed... and normally none of these much like one another.  They all face their own direction, and pretend they are alone with their Alpha Heat Source.

Great post..but I have one small disagreement tee hee and you thought that
you were writing on a safe subject.......Cats. ....almost as life changing as dogs but not quite..........Come now sir. This is a very important subject for debate. I will pit our Mr. Graysome against your beautiful Jag any time for disruptive household eccentricities and family changing forever habits. What with bowls and dishes potty pots and play gyms. Food varieties so that meals are changed every day.Toys and lifelike rats and mice lying around to terrorise in the middle of the night. Caterwauling from the basement when me too me too wants to join us in the mornings,,nappy naps with the boss in the afternoon water fights and demands for the extra heater to be turned on.My own chair please.......Your Jag sounds slightly boring dear sir.
