Re: Tzippy.this post has put tears in my eyes- and I dont cry easily at all
It is touching isn't it to know that in spite of everything there are some people in this world who are prepared to work together.

Re: Snowview
Yes, it must have been very painful for you looking back on those terrible events. It is I who should be grateful for your friendship and support. Thanks for visiting, Nita.

this post has put tears in my eyes- and I dont cry easily at all
as I truly hope that the seeds planted on this wonderful journey of joining hands, grow to bring forth the harvest we all wish to share with the entire world

How wonderful that three celebrations can come together, respectfully! I am so in agreement with this statement:
In my (humble) opinion if we lose our faith in the fundamental decency of humanity we are lost.

Lustorlove has a point.
The world is made up of a mixture of different cultures, customs and, of course, people. Although we are all different, we are all the same. Great post Betty as usual.

Wouldn't it be a great world if we could melt away old grudges
and learn to live and let live.

The festival is such a good idea! Must look at the links. The Mumbai attacks anniversary meant re-living the nightmare and one can just hope and pray it's never repeated anywhere. Thanks very much Betty for the kind and warm note on my post--thank you for being such a special friend, even before we meet next year! Have a good weekend. Nita.
