Re: janey
In this post it is about my family who are in Mexico. But, yes I miss many who are now gone... (died) too

It's hard to live away from family and even more difficult to have family members who have passed away, not sure whch it is for you, but I will say a prayer for you this evening.

Re: elysianfields
Thanks for your heartfelt comments. I do appreciate them. The movie is great but sad. (and the 11 year old actress looks a LOT like my 10 year old.

Re: Sam
If my sons were in the military and overseas, I would really miss them too!

Re: Rumor
I know what you mean. My mom died 7 years ago and I still miss her; my dad 17 years ago. He made the best turkey dressing!

mariposa, I have family spread from Hawaii to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and

often just sigh and wish, "Why can't we be closer and enjoy these holidays coming up together, and not just by a phone call?"

Of course, I miss my Mom who passed away back in '81 and always made every Christmas somehow special, not extravagant, just special.....(she knew the Lord, and I know she's in His presense, but on "those days", I just wish I could pick up the phone and call her)...I often pray to God that He say "Hello" to her for me.....

Mariposa  crying really helps - I find when the tears fall, it's best to let them...sweet release from built up labor - pain and ache.  Also, good tears - joyful tears, all the balm from Heaven.  Awww...I pray you get some rest in between all your jobs.   I must check out that movie. Elyse
