What facts are you asking about?

I am always cautious about the Word of God. I am not making these statements they are the Word of God.

If you will read John 3:3 you will see it is not I saying this but Jesus himself. Jesus answered and said to him "Most assurdly, I sy to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Reading that whole chapter will back up what I am saying. Being born of Spirit and not of flesh is the requirement of those who believe in Jesus to be of the family or body of Jesus (God)

I'm grateful for the people that love and serve God and each other.

I don't normally comment on religious posts but you are proclaiming a very narrow view of what a Christian is… if it is someone who believes in Jesus then the definition has to encompass more than just people who are “born again” – it would include many denominations and religions.  I’d be cautious here…

You say they are factual on your citing, but I do not see documentation as to it! So my question is where did you get your facts? sam

I came here to tell you it is not my intent at all to put anybody down. That is not my intent, my power, my will who am I to think I can play God. i have spent many years studying the Bible as a Doccument of God not as a denomination, or any group. I am not denouncing, I am only stating what is clear when so many say this or that was done by Christians, not so, is so often the truth. There is but one truth, it is not made by me or you dear one, it is made by God. I love you and your points of view. i am not putting anyone down. Just stating what the God breathed Word says. I am called to do that. God is love, total love. Be blessed.

Justi, I'm heading off to bed and wanted to respect your blog here with my Goodnight and acknowledgement.  I won't go into this territory --- May God bless you.  I was raised Catholic.  I have been offended for many years because of this and yes, endured a bit of persecution.  I ventured into other religions --- Baptist - Non-Denominational x many and - Pentecost - a few other in between...even Charismatic Catholic.  I gathered teachings - I took to my heart what I believe is TRUTH and the rest I dispelled as outright "man's opinion" or translation.  I won't go into heated debates nor conversations about "Church or Politics" but, I will tell you that I am more in my heart, a Spiritual person rather than a Religious person.  I Love God with all my heart and soul ~ I pray to be 'saved' - It is by faith I believe and trust I shall.  I appreciate your passion here and your sharing ~

however, what disturbs me is that in your profile you say:

"I don't care who you are, what your education, your religion I just want to read what you write.

Don't call me names or put down my beliefs, I won't yours and we can be evenly supportive of one another."

so now I ask you if you are putting down beliefs of others?  It's hurtful is all.  and maybe a bit condemning, in my opinion.  To me God is Love ~ and by Jesus, by Sacrifice and Pure Mercy, His Holy Spirit proves 'gentle' - that is to me.

May you have a lovely evening - a good rest and May God bless You and All ~ Elyse
