It takes so little to get me cold. It was not your poem just that it made me think of winter and that made me cold.

I love VWs. To think I gave only $1,800 for it. I drove it until it was the perfect gift for the oldest son. They are wonderful cars and today they are so cute.

Thank you for reading and commenting here. Be blessed.

Having not ever spent a year in any place where there was a long dark time I don't know how I would handle it, but not well I think. Thanks for the read.

Thank you Justi for your mention of my poem.  The maple leaf was a pic borrowed, and since I was just recently up in Maine visiting my Granddaughter, well, my heart is probably still there and...talk about cold, it snowed there the day before I left.  So sorry my poem made you get cold, bless your heart.  and also so sorry to hear of your gas woes and hoping, trusting it all got settled?  Do y'all have a fireplace?

* we are actually restoring a 1960 blue VW...someone painted it 'red' but we found the original paint --- Indigo blue is the color.  We have restored a few VW's --- and I had a 1972 Blue VW for one of my first cars.
You write a good blog ~  and again, I hope your gas will be restored even as I write this comment here.

I didnt know what you were talking about when you said you paid the fee, I then read the previous blog and know that your gas was cut off, I use gas for almost everything, cooking, water heater, heat so I guess I was surprised you didnt have any gas.  I know the telephone repair people refuse to go under houses now as things that have happened to them, so I guess the gas company might feel the same way.  Hope you get heat soon.

The worst feature of our northern winter is the darkness. Our homes are warm and well insulated. Thanks for visiting!

Life is a puzzle sometimes. I had a time learning to be Mom and Dad plus work and be home all at the same time. I am glad we have George and Wiley now!
